Project Stages

01

DESIGN & MEASURE STAGE

Now that you've signed on, we begin by locking in a site visit to take detailed measurements of your space. This ensures your new kitchen or bathroom layout fits perfectly and functions exactly as intended. This stage is about getting everything right before any work begins.

A 25% payment is due at this point to cover the time, planning, and procurement required to move your project into production.

02

CONSTRUCTION PREP STAGE

Once the design is approved, we begin ordering all selected materials and getting everything ready for the remodel. This includes cabinetry, fixtures, tiles, and finishes, with each item made to measure and ready for install. We use this stage to focus on quality control, accuracy, and the details that bring your project to life.

A 50% progress payment is due here to cover the cost of materials and commence preparation.

03

INSTALLATION STAGE

With everything ready to go, we begin the on-site installation of your new kitchen or bathroom. We carry out a careful, professional fit-out and coordinate with you or your builder to ensure everything goes in smoothly, with minimal disruption and maximum attention to detail.

Once the install is complete and you're happy with the final result, the final 25% balance is due. This marks the completion of your remodeling project.

Sustainable
Practices

At Scon Group we take pride in delivering beautiful remodels with sustainability in mind. We aim to reduce our environmental impact by using responsibly sourced materials, water-efficient fixtures, and recycled products wherever possible. Our team also focuses on minimising waste and using energy-efficient practices throughout the remodel process. By making conscious choices at every stage, we help create spaces that are not only functional and stylish, but also more eco-friendly.

Your Contribution

You can also play a role in making your project more sustainable. Here are a few practical ways to contribute:

Sustainable kitchen remodel
  • Materials

Ask us about eco-friendly options like recycled timber or sustainable benchtop.

  • Energy Efficiency

Consider layouts that maximise natural light and ventilation, reducing the need for artificial lighting, heating, or cooling.

  • Waste Management

Where possible, we minimise excess materials and recycle packaging, old fixtures, and demolition waste during your remodel.

  • Water-Saving Fixtures

Opt for water-efficient taps, showerheads, and toilets to help reduce long-term water use without sacrificing performance.

FAQ

Do we get a final inspection?
Yes. Once installation is complete, we walk through the finished space with you to check every detail against your plans and selections. We answer your questions, show you how fixtures and fittings work, and provide care instructions and warranty paperwork. We sign off only when you are confident everything is right.
How long will my remodel take?
We work to the agreed timeline. Supplier delays, material shortages, or access issues can cause small setbacks. Most kitchen or bathroom remodels take 4 to 8 weeks from final design approval to completion. Custom items, stonework, or appliance lead times can extend that slightly. Your project manager keeps you updated throughout.
Can I make changes after production has started?
Changes are harder once materials are ordered and work is underway. If you need an adjustment, tell us as soon as you can. We will do our best to help, but extra cost and delay may apply. Finalise all selections and check plans before sign-off to avoid disruptions.
Is there a warranty on the remodel?
Yes. Our remodeling work includes a 5-year structural warranty and a 2-year warranty on workmanship and installation, in line with consumer law. If a material or installation issue comes up, we assess and resolve it promptly. Many fittings and fixtures also carry their own manufacturer warranties.
